The Vineyards

The vineyards are located in the Oak Knoll District of the Napa Valley. There are 40 acres of estate owned vines and 70 neighboring acres that are farmed by the Muir Hanna family. Management of the vineyards is done utilizing sustainable growing practices and no pesticides have been used on the grapes in 30 years. Varietals grown are Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Sémillon, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc.

The Wines

The winery produces a big Napa Cab that has bold fruit with a great finish of leather and smoke. Their Pinot Noir is a little bit rustic and light in body with good strawberry and definite oak flavors.
