List of Wineries in Fair Play Viticultural Area

The Fair Play AVA, created in April of 2001, is located completely within the El Dorado AVA and El Dorado County. The AVA covers 21,120 acres and is a home to Zinfandel grape along with the Rhone and Italian varietals. Fair Play is between the 2000 and 3500-feet in elevation and is truly the home mountain grapes. This fact makes for a cooler wine-growing region with a shorter growing day than some of its neighbors. The 24 wineries located completely within this AVA can be found in this section.
